Déjà Pline l'ancien (23-79 ap JC) évoquait les îles flottantes dans divers pays et depuis, des îles Uros au Pérou qui datent du treizième siècle ( http://www.mackoo.com/perou/Uros.htm ) au dernier projet d'île flottante en date (Lilypad) .... en n'oubliant pas de penser à passer par Jules Verne, les îles flottantes ont toujours suscité un grand intérêt.
